Our best candidates will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent plus demonstrated aptitude for learning and understanding technical, chemical and mechanical systems and concepts; valid driver’s license; water and/or wastewater certification with the appropriate state agency; at least two or more years in the operation, maintenance and process control measures of a similar surface water plant; the ability to work independently and with a team; demonstrate written and verbal communication skills; computer knowledge; and analytical and decision-making skills.  Pre-employment drug testing is required.

WASTEWATER OPERATOR, Union Springs, AL (Full-time) - POSTED 3/28/2019

ClearWater Solutions, LLC (CWS) is seeking a Wastewater Operator in Union Springs, AL.  This position has responsibility for the successful operation of the wastewater treatment plant.   

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process and management
  • Operates sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment to control flow and processing of sewage
  • Perform daily checks of the wastewater treatment process and periodic checks of pump stations
  • Assist with the installation and inspection of new wastewater utilities
  • Read and interpret meters and gauges that monitor the purification process and operation
  • Responsible for daily inspections of all plant equipment and perform repairs of machinery and equipment as needed
  • Collects and records data for record maintenance
  • Performs facility grounds maintenance including cleaning equipment and tanks, cutting grass, and various other ‘housekeeping’ duties

WATER UTILITY OPERATOR, Beulah, AL  (Full-Time) - POSTED 2/21/2019

ClearWater Solutions, LLC (CWS) is seeking a Utility Operator in Beulah, AL.  This person will perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks for the City’s water production and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment, machinery, and specialized equipment used in the operation and maintenance of the water system.
  • Completing basic maintenance tasks
  • Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Insures the proper maintenance of equipment by cleaning and checking equipment after use
  • Responsible for grounds maintenance (cutting grass)
  • Work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime

WATER DISTRIBUTION FIELD TECHNICIAN, Beulah, AL (Full-Time) - Posted 2/21/2019

Job Summary

ClearWater Solutions, LLC (CWS) is seeking a Water Distribution Field Technician in Beulah, AL.  This person will work in the field for most of their day and be responsible for the accurate and timely collection of data from residential and commercial customer locations. 

Responsibilities

  • Review service orders to determine locations where meter readings need to be performed
  • Read water meters and enter data in route logs|
  • Maintains required paperwork and logs in compliance with Federal, State and local rules and regulations
  • Inspect meters and connections to determine defects, faults and damage
  • Repairs and/or replaces broken water mains and service lines
  • Communicate problems with meters or incorrect readings to the Project Manager
  • Operates a company vehicle to conduct meter readings for assigned route
  • Connect and disconnect utility services as directed
  • Ensure that all data in the utility log book is maintained correctly, and kept updated
  • Performs other related duties as directed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
